Active Road Noose Reduction?New thread for this release that contains ARNR toggle. Did you receive it? Thoughts on ARNR (“Active Road Noise Reduction”)?
Active Road Noose Reduction?
Did they change the description from Active Noise Cancelling?
Unbelievable. Bait and switch much?@glide They sure did (water it down to manage expectations)...

Between this and their idea of what a heated windshield is, I’m surprised they have not been sued yet.
Right. But that’s not what a “heated windshield” is. A true heated windshield has elements throughout the entire…windshield.windshield is heated, in wiper rest area.
Have you ever seen a front windshield covered in heat element wires?Right. But that’s not what a “heated windshield” is. A true heated windshield has elements throughout the entire…windshield.
Tesla is really playing fast and loose with some of these “features”.

I’m from Norway, I have never seen heat wires on front windshield, do you have any pics of this?Yep. It use to be pretty standard on Fords here in UK and probably Europe. Heating wires were very fine so you never noticed them. It worked really well and I wished that I had it on one of my cars.
No worries, I know how to Google, thanks. Autotrader - page unavailable Sounds like a very unusual optiontry google
Yes. My Range Rover has one.Have you ever seen a front windshield covered in heat element wires?
Wow, lots of words in my mouth for no reason. Havent suggested anything, thanksYes. My Range Rover has one.
Are you suggesting they don’t exist and that somehow Tesla’s half-baked idea of a heated windshield is revolutionary?
windshield is heated, in wiper rest area.
@WilliamG had his windshield replaced and posted pictures of the wires and harness coming off of his Plaid’s windshield. So, yes, I’m sure.Have you tried that for sure? The newer windshields do not have the wires in them like, say my Rover did a couple years ago. There are no wires or markings for just the wipers' area as I have seen on windshields with that feature.
It still could be a full windshield with the heat portion laminated in the middle. Not saying I really know either way. In the snowy mess today I tried it and it seemed the whole windshield reacted but that could have also been the cabin air heat. Next frost I will park outside and see what happens.

@Hayseed_MS
Not sure of that.I meant are you sure it is just the rest area and not the entire windshield. I did not see those pics. Will be disappointed if it is just heated wipers and not an actual heated windshield.
