Details

A terrific 2021 Tesla Model Y Performance, 51K miles in Midnight Silver Metallic and the White interior, which is the fastest accelerating and best looking of the Model Y’s to my eye.

I am the original buyer and the only driver of the car. I have all the records and original window sticker. I have the clean title in hand, and the car has never been in any accidents and has never had any dents or damage on the outside, other than the normal stone chips. I’m a careful parker, and there is no curb rash on any of the wheels, which is rare on these.

It also comes with some tasteful upgrades:
From Tesla:
  1. Wood Dash - the car was originally built by the Tesla Fremont factory with the natural pore wood on the dash used only on the black interiors and not the white, which actually is amazing because the white interiors come with a white plastic piece on dash that I think doesn’t look as premium. A happy mistake.
  2. Upgraded Suspension - this car has been upgraded with the OEM 2023 Model Y Performance “comfort suspension” springs and dampers, which takes some of the bump harshness out of the ride, though it’s still a sporting set up. These components were about a $1,000 plus installation.
  3. Front Seat Lumbar - this SUV has the front seat lumbar controls for your back on both the driver’s and passenger’s seat, which was taken away from the passenger’s seat in the 22 & 23 built Model Y’s.
  4. Optional Integrated Homelink Garage Door Opener - nicely integrated into the screen and software - open manually or automatically as you approach your home.
  5. Upgraded Tires - I upgraded to the Michelin Pilot All-Season tires because they are less noisy than the factory Pirelli’s, a $1,200 or so upgrade.
  6. White Interior Door Panels - the newly built cars are only using a black door panels, but I like the white door inserts much more, as an accent to the white seats. The white door inserts are no longer available, I assume as a production cost reduction to only have 1 black door panel for all.
  7. This Model Y has the quieter dual-pane front windows and new-design center console that was introduced mid-year in 2021.
  8. This Model Y has the Ultra Sonic Parking Sensors that were removed (I think sometime later in 2021) much to the dismay of many Model Y owners, because the cars without USS sensors don’t measure parking distance very well with vision-only.
Accessories that I have found useful that will go with the sale:
  1. MagSafe phone mount for Apple MagSafe iPhones - both a mount and a wireless charger.
  2. Tesla OEM console tray organizers - good for sunglasses and helps organize the two big console spaces.
  3. Maxpider 3D All Weather Mats - probably the best of all the available all-weather mats according to many reviewers. These are still New In Box - I never opened them because I typically did not drive this car in snow weather, as I have a truck to drive.
  4. Maxpider 3D Frunk and Trunk Mats - protects the underlying surfaces, looks great.
  5. Spigen Rear Seatbelt Guides - a little-known issue to non-owners of Model Y is that the rear seatbelt buckles can rattle against the inside of the car. These guides look nice and hold the buckles in place away from the sides.
  6. Temai designed Rubber Liner for front cupholders - makes cleaning up any messes a cinch.
  7. Tinted Front Windows to match factory-tinted Rear Windows - not too dark, not too light.
  8. Blackout Emblems all-around - why would Tesla put all those silver emblems on a car with blacked out trim? Dunno, but this looks better.
I might have missed an accessory or two, but I think this is it. Anyway, I’m asking for the KBB Private Party value of $34,500. All the accessories and add-ons are free.
