2021 MY LR 2nd Row Lubricant

Hello! Recently added a 2021 7 seater MY to our garage and seem to be having issues with the mechanism to move the seat for 3rd row access. Seems as simple as lubricating the gliding rails but wanted to see if there were any answers here before asking the Service Center. What type of lubricant and such, thanks!

Congrats! I actually also been meaning to look this up and always keep forgetting. I did spray some WD-40 on the rails which helped a bit but I think more of a silicone grease would be best. Hopefully someone else found something that works perfectly and can share with us.

Cut a new potato in half. Rub one half on the seat rails. Rub the other half on your forehead. Rejoin the halves while reciting the incantation, "Don't Doubt ur Vibe," then bury the potato down by the river on the first moonless night after the solstice. This will solve your issue.

(Joking aside, ask for guidance from service department, you don't want to use a lubricant that could negatively interact with what was already there.)

This made my day, thanks for the laugh! SC recommended a silicone based lubricant and it’s been smoother since!
