2023 model X AC question

hey guys hope all is well

when I turn off the AC and re enter the car on a later time, the AC remains off as it was the setting when I left the car.

when I re-enter the car adn turn on the AC only the front turns on as when I left it previously.

however, if I retrun to the car and have a rear passenger, when I turn on the AC the rear AC automatically turns on too.

Is there a way to disable this so the rear AC only turns on if I turn it on?

thanks in advance

Turn off the Auto setting for the rear. Per the owners manual: “If set to Auto, the rear vents turn on automatically when the front climate system is on and a passenger is detected.”
I did turn off auto setting in the rear, and I made sure both front and rear settings are off when I lock the car

when I come back to the car and start it up, turn on the ac for the front, the rear will automatically come on too if there is a rear passenger

so hmmm....
