I have had both of my rear caliper covers fail and fall off. The passenger’s side fell off with the slightest impact from the wheel being removed to replace an irreparable tire at Costco. The other one has since fallen off whist driving over the past two weeks. I only have 2k miles on the car and have had it for 75 days. The pot metal castings look very brittle and porous. I believe these to be a manufacturer’s defect but Tesla charged me the right rear and I have to file another service claim for the left rear today.
