2024 (Highland) Performance Reluctant WiFi

My 2024 Model 3 Performance seems reluctant to connect to WiFi when it wakes up from a nap. My old 2021 Model 3 LR never had any problem: it'd be on LTE when it first boots up but within a few seconds it'd automatically connect to the WiFi extender that is basically IN the garage. My 2024 seems to stay on LTE until I tap the LTE signal bars and choose the WiFi extender and THEN it connects to it. In fact, it has 3 bars of signal and I can play HD videos over YT so I know the WiFi signal is fine and it is working. It just seems reluctant to auto-connect to it. On the as-delivered 2024.14.100.1. Anyone else having this problem on a Highland? I'm not sure if it is firmware related but maybe. As I said, my 2021 never had a problem under the exact same conditions.
