3D Printable Phone Charging Dock Expander

Last week I downloaded this spacer from Thingaverse:
Tesla Model 3 Phone Dock Extension by bumbumbum

I then uploaded and ordered it from Shapeways.

The print came out fantastic and now my wife and kids can charge their phones that have cases an pop-sockets attached.

Probably 50 cents in material and maybe 5 cents in electricity. Find a friend with a 3d printer!

Just installed this today. The printer left a couple of chunks under the 'hooks', but I easily removed them with a pocket knife- looks like maybe it was supposed to do this. The fit was a little tight, but once I got it all assembled, it's perfect!

I have a flip leather phone case so the front flips around to the back. This extension lets me open it up and slide it right into the lightning port. Fantastic!
