4 week old car - Getting towed today due to battery prob

Having too much fun in the past 4 weeks on my Model 3.
Have clocked close to 2200 miles on it.
Today as always I pull in to my garage after my workday,
Strangely my dash gave me a warning
"12v power reduced. Vehicle may shut down unexpectedly"
"Car needs service. Car may not restart"

It's bitter sweet to see my less than a month old car getting towed away to my nearest service center.
Tesla said they will be contacting me tomorrow to see what's the diagnosis.

I honestly hope it is a quick fix rather than a long awaited one.

Has anyone faced this issue here?

I'm sure that's been mentioned before (18 times) ....

do a search for "Car needs service. Car may not restart"

It sounds like its sometimes the rear drive unit that needs to be replaced, but I bet there are several other things that could be an issue as well.

I hope it doesn't go down for few days to a few weeks.
For now they have given me an Uber Voucher for a day or two.
I hope they provide me a loaner as I drive close to 60 miles round trip work and home.
Need to take my kid to music class and run other errands, Doubt if voucher will come in handy for all of this

Was case of bad 12V battery
They replaced it the same day.

Glad to hear they fixed it. It is very frustrating, but also can happen with any car. A few years back, I had a relatively new Audi A4 Quattro with 5,000 miles when the power relay went out and had to be towed to the dealership. Overall, my Tesla P3D has been much more reliable than either my former Audi or BMW.
