600hp EV roadster

It was actually announced to the public last year before the Tesla Roadster. There have been a few other press releases and reports on it, here's one from January:

Obviously it hasn't gotten anything like the press attention of Tesla. Today's coverage was the first video I've seen of it in motion, which I guess is a step closer to making it seem real.

Hybrid Technologies is a company built around conversions of gasoline cars to electric power. They've converted Smart cars, Chrysler Crossfires, PT Cruisers and Mini Coopers. The L1X-75 appears to be simply an electric conversion of a Mullen GT: http://www.mullenmotorco.com/

That availability date puts it about to today. Anyone know of one on these on the road? ;D
