A Roadtrip in three Phases, first and third phases are Tesla filled...

Since the focus of these trips isn't really the car, but the company and its relationship with the community, either in the Tesla Owners Club program that we help organize for Orange County or in terms of the Annual Meeting this year, which is Phase 3... I figured that this forum would be the best place to write about this Roadtrip...

Two weeks ago, I started our "A Trip in Three Phases..." and Phase 1 (http://pascual.co/ActiveE/2017/06/a-trip-in-three-phases-phase-1-the-tesla-owners-club-2017-leadership-conference/) ended at a hotel across the street from Tesla's Fremont Factory.

The traffic was horrendous... It was bumper-to-bumper Teslas...

Even though we were at Fremont representing the Tesla Owners Club of Orange County, and Tesla was having the VIP Factory Tour event at the same time. We did get to spot some Model 3s...

Even though I was requested to STOP taking photos.

Others have definitely had better shots of the Model 3 than I have... But these are OURS and it was a thrill nonetheless.

Phase 2 of this trip in Three Phases (http://pascual.co/ActiveE/2017/06/a-trip-in-three-phases-phase-2-bmw-active-e-electronaut-reunion-4-in-morro-bay/) involved traveling to Morro Bay for a reunion of the West Coast Active E folks. So, It's interesting to see what EVs we've all moved to from the BMWi Active E program.

This was a weird drive for us because this Trip in Three Phases has us using Fremont as a base. We're normally Southern California based and we've done this Morro Bay drive from that direction, and not going South.

The Rock at Morro Bay was Sunny today. Quite unlike the last reunion.

And it was quite uneventful, but we've finally met up with EVeryone.

Looks like more of us left BMW, and quite a bit ended up with Teslas. All S in this group as I didn't see any X.

We lost some folks, but gained some Bolt EVs for this shot. Wondering how many of those cars will be replaced my Model 3s in the next reunion.

We used the hotel's Level 2 as it was a destination charger.

dominated by this year's Tesla Annual Meeting.

Lots of Tesla Spotting for EV Bingo in the Annual Meeting. But it was quite different to find someone who I suspect has this plate holding for his Model 3.

The man of the hour. We had better seats, but worse pictures of Elon this year vs. last year's trip. I thought we were third row, turned out we were fourth row. I think last year we used a real camera with a zoom and this year, it was our mobile phone cameras...
