Abstract Ocean Front Door Pocket Colored Lens

I have AO’s blue footwell lights plus their blue lights in my center console and glovebox as well. I ordered two sets of blue front door pocket lights. One set to install directly on the front doors and one set to modify (bend) to install on the rear doors as the rear door surface at the led light is curved. After removing the tape I used a heat gun to gently heat the rear lens just enough to slightly bend it to fit the rear curved armrest bottom. I damaged one doing so careful with the heat gun. I then added new tape.
AO has them in Blue, Red and Purple. Here are some pics:

I love the way it looks. I was tempted to do the same as you in blue to match the paint. We live in a really dark area and I am glad I went with the bright white in the foot wells and the trunk. Abstract Ocean are absolutely the best, easy to install and bright! Next project for me is adding one under the console for the passengers, then lighting the inside of the console. Freaking dark in there!!!

What was your procedure for bending them? Did you heat them up and press them up against the light or did you bend them with your hands?

I very slowly heated them and then just bent them with my fingers. Heat them just enough to allow the bend. Any more will distort them. The only need a slight curve to fit the profile.
