Who else would like to invest in solar power for their tesla, but can't directly install panels and/or wall connectors?
How many of us would it take for Tesla to start an "Adopt-a-panel" program?
Imagine you "sponsor" (i.e. fund) some number of panels in high solar capacity region with high traffic (i.e. San Diego to San Fran, or LA to southwest) with a reward of some supercharge credits to use wherever you are on the network.
I can't install my own panels: I live in a high-rise condo in Northern VA. My building's roof cant have panels. My local power company (Dominion Electric) is so notorious for its green-washed "green power" program that one local analyst said it's better to just donate the "green" surcharge money to some charity to buy their own panels instead.
