Advice of swap? Taking UK Tesla S to NYC

Hi fellow Telsa Owners!

I live in London and own a 2018 Tesla S 100D - the greatest car I have ever owned. I am desperate to take it to the US where I am moving for work (NYC) in a few weeks

my questions

• Dows m anyone know anyone who could build / supply a UK > US Telsa adaptor?
• OR: is any one coming the other way (US to Europe) that might be interested in swapping cars?
• I was considering asking Tesla to do a P/X if neither of the above work, any advice / thoughts on this?

I would check with Tesla is the cars can even be used overseas. If you are in NYC, no need for a car and parking would be crazy expensive....

You could use this to convert US J1772 to European style Type 2 connector

US to European Type 1 (J1772) to Type 2 (IEC / Mennekes) EV Adapter – EVSE Adapters

That's just going to get you single-phase AC charging though. You won't be able to use the US Supercharger network. I think you can use CHAdeMO DC chargers.
