I have a 2021 Model S Plaid that I bought used.
It came with the dark woodgrain interior trim.
However I like a Glossy Carbon Fiber finish.
I bought a hard shell gloss inlay kit for the dash and door panels and a gloss inlay for the card key phone charger area.
I got a 2021-22 oem Tesla Matte CF console and sanded and clear coated it with Awl Grip 2 part polyurethane boat
paint that dries glossy and is extremely tough without needing baking.
I used a glossy inlay for the cup holder area as it was a lot easier than taping off and clearing that part.
There's 4 small connectors which seem simple enough.
I was wondering if anyone here has removed and re installed or swapped out their 2021+ Model S Plaid console.
There's some earlier Tesla Model S console videos on YouTube but not anything specific for this 2021+ Model S Console.
I know the side panels pop off but am not sure where the fastener screws that hold the console top to the bottom are.
Any how to advice would be appreciated.
