Aero wheel covers came off driving through areas of high water

No, don't look. REALLY don't. I noticed when washing the car and it really bugs me now.

It’s the same on every car, of course, AFAIK. Maybe very high end cars it is not. And of course on some cars there is no direction.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. All 4 hubcaps came off, passing through normal rainwater may be 3-4".

Just came across this thread. Now I understand why my rear aero wheel covers went missing. Also missing was the rear bottom panel cover...
