My model S has been at the detailer for a week getting some work done (chrome delete, window tint, curb rash repair + powder coating wheels) and I've been anxious for its return. While I wait I've been researching audio upgrades (the last thing I really want to "do" to the car). I'm looking to form a mental ballpark for how much I should expect to pay before I start visiting shops. I'm fairly well versed on home theater audio gear, but car stuff not so much...
I opted for the standard audio assuming I'd go back and upgrade eventually... for those of you who've upgraded from the standard audio in the model S - what did you do, and approximately how much did it cost?
I'm thinking small sub + speaker upgrade would be more than sufficient, but I want to lose as little cargo space as possible.
