Anker USB Hub not working. Any thoughts?

After reading a number of threads on here, I went ahead and bought this USB hub for my M3: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L32B9C2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Tried it out last night and today and it doesn't seem to work with my car. I wanted to plug a music USB flash drive into it and still be able to use the charging cables (the right USB port is reserved for my DashCam SD card). I confirmed that the music flash drive works when plugged into the port directly.

Any thoughts on why this isn't working and what to do to fix it (assume some other USB hub) would be greatly appreciated.

Tried the hub on my computer and it works fine. Don't know why it won't work in the car. In any event, solved my problem by buying the Taptes wireless charger. Splitters it came from are working so now I can charge two iPhones while both the dash cam and music USB sticks are working fine.
