No they honor the old price, no matter long they take, if you don't cancel. You cancel you lose.

I don't think that is correct from what I was told by Tesla. I am still waiting for my vin and they said if I change the color or anything the price goes to the new price.

Well then you didn't "keep your (original) order" so yes I imagine that if you change your order your price changes. They are a business.

That's no longer true. You can edit your design and retain "old" pricing.

Kind of in the same situation. June 2021 OD. Was initially May June EDd, then Got pushed to June/July. Will need that second car come late May, so I’m really hoping my EDD will move up again. I’m trying real hard not to pull the trigger on fsd. Only add FSD if you really want it. It will not...

The M3 with xdrive looks like a beast but you're paying a lot more for it. But if price weren't a factor it'd be a toss up for me. A non-electric performance vehicle may have the same 0-60 times but the power delivery and sound makes the experience much different. It seems the M3P is more consistent and foolproof with its performance but that does decline with % of SOC. IMO there's also more fun things you can do to mod and tune a gas car.

But about the price increase, and considering the used market it feels like there's still more headroom for price hikes.
