Any success in moving delivery date forward?

Just got the text....delivery appointment at heathrow for the 12th August and I now have a VIN visible in my account (no final invoice yet)

Obviously I am going on holiday on the 11 and back in UK on the 25th....so not sure what to do to not give up the car :/

Has anyone been able to agree a different delivery date yet?

I had a phone call from them in August to give me approx dates of 12 - 24 of August. This was in late July.

I told them I was on holiday from the 12th until the 18th and they said it would be ok, and they'd be in touch within a few days to let me know of a more exact date, but they'd be sure it would be after the 19th.


It's been three weeks and I haven't heard a thing.

I'm getting my car from Birmingham this Friday, I had a call from Tesla to confirm, I asked if I could get it Thursday and she said the cars won't arrive on site until Friday morning. Seems tight!
