Anyone know if there are delays after factory shutdown?

I ordered my SR+ M3 on 3/6 and still yet to receive any updates from Tesla. With the factory shutting down I have no idea when my M3 will be delivered. I spoke to a rep from Tesla and they told me there are no delays as of yet but does anyone have any information regarding this?

Yesterday we got a call from our sales person that even though we ordered the car on 3/14 with 1-2 weeks delivery we wouldn't be getting it until June at the earliest. Today we got a call from Tesla saying that our car is ready for delivery. I guess we will know when it shows up in front of our door.

Wow; lucky you! What was your build if you don’t mind sharing?

Been wondering the same thing myself and after speaking to a very helpful Tesla rep today, I want to say it depends on the build you chose vs. existing inventory in your area, along with the possibility of the last incoming shipments coming in these last few days. Chatting in on Tesla.com can be helpful and informative as well at times. Good luck and keep us posted if you find anything out!

Tesla has strong logistics. They compare standing orders to inventory on the ground and expected to be coming off the line. If you are lucky, they will find an inventory configuration acceptable to you, and notify you that one is available. If there is no physical vehicle available, and the plant is closed down, then you will need to wait til the factory reopens. Alternative is to contact your delivery specialist and see what might be available right now. Might not have your exact desired configuration, but might be good enough.

Different seats, wheels, color etc might still be acceptable to you, if getting it delivered right now is an incentive.

On the negative side, some regional locations are under embargo. Deliveries for those areas will most likely be shunted to areas open for business. Also, if you car does not pass final inspection, then that vehicle also will no longer be fit for delivery and postponed.
