Delivery delays to Hawaii

Let’s share any information on current delivery delay reasons if someone has any facts. What’s heard from Fremont factory all cars in port awaiting shipment which is on hold this September. Delivery dates have shifted to October. “Port of Hawaii had been overbooked” - that’s the only explanation I’ve heard from Oahu local dealerships. If that’s true the factory and Tesla app would know it earlier. So this is obviously not 100% fact.

How long did your cars take?

I ordered a MY on Feb 28th. That day, I received a text that included "your Model Y has been built and is in transit to Hawaii. We're expecting your Model Y to arrive to Oahu roughly between 2/29 and 3/7."

My app stated March 6-13. I logged in today and it's been pushed to March 14-21.

My estimated delivery date was updated this morning to March 12 (today) to the 20th. Weird.

I had that back and forth on dates when I took delivery of my X in Dec 2022. I think for 3/Y, they sometimes try to match up with inventory that comes in or if someone didn't take delivery.

Just scheduled my delivery appointment for next Sunday, 3/24.
