12.1 installed successfully on my Model 3 now. I find it odd that the car will tell you there is an update available but makes no mention of which version it is or what is in it until the update installation has completed. Is this also the case on the S and X?
Most of the time if there are no major changes they’ll include an iOS App Store-esque “Bug fixes and minor enhancements” line - itself moderately helpful so people don’t wonder otherwise, or at least speculate less. Heh.
But as far as knowing what you’re installing *before installing it* (note there’s no user-capable rollback) and anything that resembles a best practice/industry standard set of release notes for every download?
