Anyone Recognize This Part?

I was vacuuming under my drivers seat today and this was stuck in the hose. All my seat motor functions appear to work so I'm not sure what it could be.

It’s a noise filter. On older cars, there were called condensers and usually a metal cylinder with a metal tab and a single wire.

The question is where does it plug in. It could be an extra part dropped by the assembler and he just grabbed a second and installed it.

I don’t think you need to worry about it.
 
Had mobile service come yesterday for some unrelated issues. I asked him what it was and he said it's a part for the left or right speaker on the premium audio A pillars. Probably broke it during the airbag recall and just replaced the whole speaker.
