I have a delivery scheduled for Tuesday. Would y’all take delivery or wait for Elons roadmap at earning call?

You'll never take delivery because Tesla constantly updates their vehicles if you are waiting for the next big thing before accepting the car. The first Austin Y's may have the 2170 batteries but then switch to the 4680 and you would want to wait for that. Then after that, they may up the capacity to 90 kwh and you would want to wait for that. It's an endless sea of updates. Take delivery now. You ordered the car on the basis of how the car was at the time of order. Plus you're in Cali. You're getting a Fremont Y. The initial small batches that would come out of Austin will go East. Plus Fremont will transition over to Y 2.0 Chassis as well at some point( look another point people will want to place their order on hold.....).

Main concern actually is they announce they’ll be coming with air suspension from now on. Agree with your points to some extent but it’s not very often they update with meaningful changes like air suspension or 4680.

Then cancel the order until the Y comes with the long rumored air suspension and order again. You ordered the car knowing it didn’t come with the air suspension. It’s like ordering an iPhone, but then want to tell Apple to delay delivering the iPhone because you heard a rumor on Twitter how the next iPhone will have a fusion reactor for a power source.
