Nah i got one of the wire ones that folds out from a circle. Should stash under the seat or in the door pockets. Has the cutout for the mirror too.
But thanks for the link, i somehow got sidetracked snd bought these.
These guys are really good. Australian Veteran aswell so we got along really well...

I have something similar on my current car.
We do get a lot of number plates stolen and used in drive offs and joy rides etc so might be a good $10 to spend?
I think i got my last lot from RAA but now they want you to take your car in to have them fitted..

I collect my car tomorrow and need to get a decent Type 2 cable.
