I installed it this week. Like it. In your case I think just pushing the frunk 20 times a day may cause paint to wear.

I think it will still open it if you press open. Even while it has "Open" status. Sensor is on the right hand side of the frunk lock, relatevely easy to access. Check youreself or raise a support case if don't feel comfortable. And no, I don't think it will allow to drive with open frunk.

Houston, we have a problem. While installing frunk soft closure thing I wired the power to it and then I was away for a minute my kid closed the frunk. Now it is showing as open in the app, but actually closed and I am not sure how to open it. Any ideas?

I read somewhere LED strip AND auto closing thing installed together may draw too much power? Hav you got both installed?

Pretty sure its the one @TE5L4 already tried and its not compatible. I actually contacted AUSGO (the brand by the link) and they said only expect to have Highland compartible matts in the second half of 2024 unfortunately.
