Autocross will void warranty - wait what?

Help me understand how buying a P3D+ with a promised Track Mode and using it for Autocross is explicitly stated as voiding the warranty?

Also HPDE is not mentioned and is not ‘competition’, anyone know if that voids?

There is another thread on this, but it was written Pre-Track Mode.

A manufacturer cannot void a warranty. They can refuse to honor the warranty for specific types of repairs so long as the cause of the issue needing repair is listed as uncovered by a warranty. So Tesla can say "damages caused by using the car for Autocross are not covered", they would need to demonstrate the requested repair is linked to the use of the car in Autocross.

See Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act - Wikipedia

It's like those stickers on items that say "warranty void if removed". See 'Warranty Void If Removed' Stickers Are Illegal, FTC Says. Those are illegal too.
