Autopilot with Lane Changes - Noob Here

Hi all, sorry if I'm bringing up a stupid topic, but just wondering if all you autopilot professionals can chime in here:

• do you require lane change confirmation?
• what's the best mode for lane changes - average or mad max?

I try driving on the freeway around 75mph and it appears that autopilot lane changes are still so random i.e. changing lanes 2 miles before an exit right in front of a big rig truck, etc.

Do you guys have any tips or etc. of how you best use the lane change feature? Thank you in advance!

It's a beta product so I finetune it according to my use.

I do not require lane change confirmation.

I use mad max.

However, I don't purely use Navigation on Autopilot all the time. I use a combination of manual, Autopilot, and Navigation on Autopilot, it's a mix and match to suit my needs.
