Back up view one camera or 3?

I have a 2019 M3 LR and when I'm in reverse I see one screen from my rear camera. A friend of mine has a 2018 M3 and when they are backing up they have 3 screens. One from the rear & 2 from the sides. We are both up to date on our software & we couldn't find anything in the settings. Any idea why? and what does your 3 have?

From the owner's manual:

Model 3 also displays images from the side cameras. To view these images, simply swipe when the view from the rear view camera is displayed.
