Battery Level / Range incorrect in cluster display after update

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
I purchased the Model 3 & Y Steering Column Instrument Cluster Display from rpmtesla about two months ago.

After the 2024.20.1 update, the battery percentage shows 0% and range is 899 miles (I wish).

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

2022 Model 3 LR with AMD processor

Thank you.

TT forum speaks about new software for several units... it's a can bus update ..
Upgrade - Google Drive
above is the link from the hansshow website , but it only includes a CAN bus update , not the original software...

My issue is that I dont have the original august 2023 software for my 4.6 mini display... The software WAS on their site yesterday, which is replaced by the "new" software . which only is a can_bus update.. like a catch 22.... writing a usb stick with only a can bus update does not work (tried it)..
it seems that I / We need the software AND the can bus ...

anyone more luck ?

Thanks for the file! I put it onto a USB stick and it updated the CAN bus within a minute.

Battery level and range are now correct again.

By the way, I didn't need the app32.upd file on the USB stick.

The instructions in your link say to use a 4 to 16 GB stick (I used a 16).

Perhaps yours was too small or too large?
