Battery life post crash

Of course I know the financial crisis doesn't effect battery life, but how about a real crash?

Took delivery Nov 12, got t-boned Dec 22 (other driver ran stop sign)

Car has been in shop since, body shop needed some special widget from Tesla to open up, then got wrong one after long delay, should have new one now. That's just to get appraisal completed.

Yeah, a bummer. But I'm still able to type, walk, go to work to make car payment for car I can't drive etc. Could be worse.

As I woke up to 10F temps this morning, just wondering what does system and battery do post crash? Does vampire drain still happen?

It has been cold here, but not too bad, but now going down to single digits for a bit. Isn't that bad?

There should be a battery disconnect that will stop vampire drain or they can leave it plugged into 120v. Assuming the pack was not compromised you should be fine.

If the 12 volt battery is disconnected you should have minimal loss from the HV battery.
