Anyone who has crossed the coquihalla needs to leave a comment on this article... I can't believe a leaf is getting the attention. Brutal.

The article does read: "the first time a fully electric car (not including the Tesla) has made it to Merritt". So I don't see it as that brutal. The more pressure for charging stations along that route the better (at least until we get Superchargers).

My vacation home is just north of Princeton so I wish someone was also doing this for Crow's Nest Highway and if they're in a Leaf, that's fine by me. A supercharger is scheduled for Hope and that's the starting point to both the #3 (Crow's Nest) and the #5 (Coq) highways. After that, the #3 won't get any, but the other route will go right to Edmonton. We need to press for Superchargers through to Osoyoos at least but that's probably unlikely for many years.

Ok, just read my pdf version.. yes they do say a Tesla in the text lower down... just bugs me the title. Journalists. sheesh.

Yeah, the title is bad but I like how they refer in the article to the Tesla as if it's in a league of it's own - which it is.

Wouldn't a few leafs, and a Rav4ev have gone through the coquihalla already during the e-mazing race?
