Hello, everyone!
due to a family member’s sudden heart condition and upcoming medical costs, I’ll need to sell my brand new Tesla Model Y Performance. It’s my dream car, and I’ll say that to the new owner, I’ve worked tirelessly to make this 102 mile vehicle “better than new.”
I just got it and throughout its entire time, instead of driving it, I spent time with Tesla engineers, service centers, and Tesla quality engineers to make it perfect, with the goal of keeping it forever.
Tiny scratches and imperfections found from manufacturing were removed (brand new steering wheel, rocker panels, professional paint correction and detailing, brand new front bumper, interior detailing and protection, etc).
There was a scratch on the front bumper from the factory and instead of painting it, the car was sent to the Fremont factory and I had the front bumper replaced.
In addition, we went back to the Tesla design spec and re-aligned the trunk, front headlights, front bumper, doors, and reworked the door closing forces.
Also, the car, while only 102 miles, was only driven to iron out squeaks and rattles. It drives like a bank vault.
The paint is amazing, since it was professionally corrected and polished, and ready for PPF, ceramic coat, or whatever you’d like. Once the paint was corrected, the car was flat-bedded home to prevent road scratches.
The Interior has also been professionally detailed.
The car has never been supercharged, never charged above 90%, and I’ve never driven it on the highway (it’s only been charged once since I’ve owned it)
Since new, it’s always been garaged and has never seen rain.
Specs of the car:
• Tesla Model Y Performance Fully loaded
• Mileage: 102 miles
• Full Self Driving included ($12,000 upgrade)
• Red Multi-Coat ($2,000 upgrade)
• Black and White Premium Interior ($1,000 upgrade)
• Tow Hitch ($1000 upgrade)
• 21” Uberturbine Wheels
• Five Seat Interior
• Pay as you go Supercharging
Included in the sale are goodies for free (cost online ~$2,735+ before tax)
I tried my best to get current pricing online and through Tesla. Please be respectful, I understand some pricing is subjective. If I couldn't get a price, I just listed it as blank.
• A limited edition brand new in box Elon Musk Signature High Power 80A Wall Charger (I know pricing is subjective. Looks like it retails for $1,000 on eBay).
• A Rare Tesla Engineering jacket for Tesla Fremont Engineering (Men’s Medium) ($150)
• A Rare Tesla Engineering Safety Champion Employee Hat ($50)
• A Tesla Fremont Manufacturing Production Hat ($50)
• Extra set of Tesla RFID Key cards ($40) – 4 key cards total
• Tesla all weather floor mats ($225)
• Tesla Roadside Safety Kit ($65)
• 2x Tesla Dual Motor Performance badge for European vehicles (neat as it’s slightly thinner in thickness due to pedestrian impact requirements) ($50)
• Custom fog lights with sequential turn signals ($180)
• An extra Tesla J1772 Adapter ($50)
• A Tesla embossed screen cleaning cloth (I don’t know the value of this and if I put a value on it, the internet will probably cancel me)
• A Tesla employee badge keychain (was planning on using it for the key card)
• An extra set of new Tesla Aluminum Performance Pedals ($25)
• An extra Tesla Steering Wheel with Airbag (originally I was planning on sending it out for a custom steering wheel, but now that I’m selling the car, it’ll be included) ($800). You can use it as a core to send to buy a custom steering wheel.
As optioned on Tesla’s site, including registration and delivery, not including tax, the vehicle comes out to: $70,886.
I understand there’s the $7,500 tax credit, so I’m hopeful I’m not being unreasonable.
Thus, I’m taking the loss on the sales tax and subtracting $7,886 to sell the car for $63,000, firm, including the free accessories, paint correction, etc. If we factor in the accessories, it’s a $10,621 discount before taxes).
I’m hoping this car goes to a great home to someone who can love it and appreciate it as much as I intended to. It’s absolutely beautiful and dozens of Tesla employees, detailing professionals, and I spent almost two months working on it once I got it to make it the best version it could possibly be. I hate to see it go, as it’s my dream car, I tried to figure out how to keep it, but family always comes first.
Please message if you’re serious about purchasing. Thank you!
Title is in hand. Plates just arrived about a week ago.
Payment with cashier’s check or wire while at your bank please.
