Posting this for a friend.
His Model X was in a fender bender and has been sitting at the body shop now for 11 going on 12 months.
At first he was told the hold up was a Tesla related piece of service equipment that needed to be replaced, then it became parts related.
He has been told he is at the front of the line for repair work as soon as they have what they need.
He has just thrown his arms in the air and given up hope that he will ever see this car back in the near future.
How can Tesla's body shops hold someone's car hostage for so long? Is this real or are they just jerking his chain?
Anyone know of body shops that can do the work in the Atlanta area.
He is in Peachtree City but I am sure he would be willing to take the car just about anywhere in the Atlanta area if it means getting his car done.
TIA
