Brent Cross pickup. What is the process?

Hi,

Has anyone picked up their car from Brent Cross before? If so, what is the process? Seems like they only have a Sales area in the main shopping centre?

Any advice, where to go, where car is stored, etc, much appreciated.

I will be collecting from the Brent Cross store in a couple of weeks. I asked the Sales Rep (Nisha) and she said the instructions will come with the collection invitation. I did a test drive there so I assume it is similar: meet in the store, watch the relevant videos, deal with the trade in (if any) and then be escorted to the level in the covered car park where the chargers are to collect the vehicle.

I'm guessing Brent Cross is a quiet place to collect from as the store is small.

I picked up from Brent Cross last Wednesday. They've only been doing collections for two weeks so it's a new process for them.

Here's what happened to us.
We arrived about 20 minutes late (due to a delayed train), but found the showroom on the ground floor without issue. Introduced ourselves to the sales advisor who told us that since we were late, they'd given our car away.

Sales guy headed out the back to find the delivery guy, who appeared a couple of minutes later, then he walked us throught the shopping center to the lifts, and took us to Red car park, level 4. The car park was empty other than a couple of demo vehicles, and three model 3's waiting for collection. The guy showed us around the car - confirmed that the charging cables were in the boot, then we got in the car, and he spent about 40 minutes going through the details - telling us about all of the settings. Once we were happy, he had me sign on his iPhone, then left us to it. We told him we were going to get something to eat before we left, and he said that if we though of any questions while we were eating, to go back down to the showroom and ask for him.

Overall, a really good experience - not at all rushed, no videos.

Hope that helps,

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing the light isn't very good in the indoor car park (from memory) so if there are any paint issues you won't be able to see them until you get home? I'm not expecting any issues!

Excellent, many thanks for your response. Was the area you picked the car up in well lit and easy to look round the car?

Light was OK - could have been better, could have been worse. Didnt spot any issues on the car in the car park, and still haven't seen any at home. Lots of room to look around the car, it was parked overlapping two disabled spaces, the other two cars due for collection were about 4 spaces away, either side.
