With respect to the Model X hubris, I particularly like the following quote:

The second-system effect proposes that, when an architect designs a second system, it is the most dangerous system they will ever design, because they will tend to incorporate all of the additions they originally did not add to the first system due to inherent time constraints. In addition some of the new cooling/packaging tech in P100D battery is part of Model 3 design. Just like D version happened before Model X came to be.

Right! I'm getting flashbacks all of a sudden. This new battery design should be exciting indeed!
