i know you're new to the tesla game but plenty of people have gotten loaner cars for delayed deliveries...well documented on the TMC. He already paid, contract is executed.

The delivery has some leeway and how whether or not to do this ..it’s all in how you approach the scenario

Tesla sales are not allowed in Louisiana or Texas. So prepayment (buying the car in california) is legally required.

Sounds like a State government issue in those two states, not a Tesla issue.

It's an issue with states that have ridiculous franchise dealership laws and hugely powerful dealership lobbies.

Fair point, but still devoid from reality if he thinks a delay (which resulted in him not receiving a dud) is a "Buying experience from hell". Unfortunate, sure, but a little perspective here.

Sucks you had a bad experience, OP. As other allude to, Tesla just doesn't have the infrastructure yet that allows them to do quick repairs in all states. You should have been aware of that going into it.
