I'm not a big fan of the current two wheel options for the Plaid. Bolt pattern appears to be the same from my research, so is it feasible to buy from Ebay a set of the 21" turbines and swap out the Arachnids?

Yes and Yes.I have ordered LR 2021, and thinking to put Twin Turbine, will it fit?
Naked Arachnids Weight
10.5 = 35.6 pounds
9.5 = 32.4 pounds
Probably not perfectly accurate, but close enough for military work.
Anyone know if tsportline is going to make flow forged arachnid replicas for plaid? Like in 19’s or 20’s…Tsportline does have the original arachnids available for this so the offset should match the new ones. I'd prefer not to put spacers on a car with this much torque, may just have to live with the new wheels it comes with.
I'm sure they will... just remember that their wheels are cast and the rim is flow-formed, not forged.Anyone know if tsportline is going to make flow forged arachnid replicas for plaid? Like in 19’s or 20’s…

I am looking for a set of 21 Plaid arachnids wheels and tires. I just received mine yesterday. I spec'd the vehicle with the 21" but they said it would be another month or two so I decided to accept delivery of one with the 19"

Why? 265’s at rear for the turbine 21’s staggered set up? Of course it could fit if one wanted to add a 10-15mm spacer to simulate the news 295’s.
Yeah but I thought you were mentioning plug and play. I would never use a spacer on a TeslaWhy? 265’s at rear for the turbine 21’s staggered set up? Of course it could fit if one wanted to add a 10-15mm spacer to simulate the news 295’s.
You don’t need to simulate the 295’s. Optional. The 265’s rears have been on model S for 9 yrs lol and they look just fineYeah but I thought you were mentioning plug and play. I would never use a spacer on a Tesla
But the refreshed S has flared fenders. The front are 1” wider, the rear are 1.5” wider. They won’t look fine.You don’t need to simulate the 295’s. Optional. The 265’s rears have been on model S for 9 yrs lol and they look just fine
Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing: Topic was buying older turbines for new Model S refresh. No, they will not fit naturally. 265 or 295...the new refresh is substantially wider. Fenders are different--all of them. Offsets for the new car are different than older model S oem offsets. Can you rig older turbines to fit a new model 265 on rear...? You could...and I would heavily advise against it. Will significantly effect the handling of the car, amongst other risks by using spacers on a car with this much power.You don’t need to simulate the 295’s. Optional.
