Cannot connect to Gen3 Wall Charger via API

Hi

I post the question here, as I do not see a specific one on Tesla Wall Connectors...

been looking for Tesla Gen3 Wall Connector API connectivity, and I see it is possible, but I can't get it to respond.
I see the WallConnector in my network dashboard, so it has WiFi connectivity.

But when doing a https://<my-ip>/api/1/wifi_status I do not get a response.

Same via terminal: url -s http://192.168.1.102/api/1/version or url -s http://192.168.1.102/api/1/vitals do not return anything...

Is API access something you have to turn on?

Assuming your Wall Connector IP is 192.168.1.102, try in a browser:
192.168.1.102/api/1/vitals

Also, you are not connecting WiFI direct to the Wall Connector. The Wall Connector is attached to your local WiFi network. Do not attach to the TeslaConnect3333333 in your available networks, attach your computer or phone to your local WiFI network. The WiFi Direct IP address of the Wall Connector to set it up (Commissioning Tesla calls it) by default is 192.168.92.1. Connect to it through your normal WiFi network once it is set up.

Thank you for your response. It did make me think about how the Wall Connector is hooked up to my network, and it appears I connected it to my guest network... Hope this will fix it...
