Can't connect my model 3 to my Starlink network

My model 3 can't see my Starlink wifi router (the signal is split to 2.4/5 GHz). All other devices do not have the same problem. Sitting in my car, my iPhone connects to the Starlink router without problems. My car connects without problems to my iPhone using hot spot.

Might be a security issue. There is a WPA3 protocol now which may be on in your router and not supported by your car. Check your router and if it is on WPA3 change it to WPA2 and try it again.

Check your phone then when it is connected to the Starlink router. Look at your wifi connection and see what security protocol it is using. Some routers won't even allow WPA2 connections if WPA3 is selected for use.

I have Starlink, but I don't use their router. I strongly urge you to consider upgrading your system by using a third-party router.

How far is your car from the router?

This is also a common issue, you can connect your phone from your garage to your home WiFi, but the car would not connect.
One solution is to add a small portable router (like gl-inet) inside your car and use it as a WiFi relay.
