dunno why people are so confused by this…when the parts are available…service center will reach out to you to schedule a service appointment to install it…not rocket science…

Maybe because they didn't even mention it when I picked it up and noticed afterwards? Also which service center contacts you? Is it the one near the delivery center or the one closer to you?

i didn't even order a p3d and found out about this after being on the forum for like two days. maybe we need a sticky for it.

I asked my delivery guy yesterday, and he said they come shortly after delivery and get installed at the SC. He spoke like he’s seen these come. I was skeptical. I definitely want the spoiler. I’m hoping I can get the badge in hand and not applied. I’m having chrome delete done and the shop doing that said they’d black it out and would prefer doing it before application. I’ll have them do it and then eyeball it before sticking it on and decide whether I want it or not.

That said, definitely want the spoiler, and hoping to get it sooner than later.

i saw on the reddit forums that someone took delivery of a LR Awd model 3 that had the badge on it already. so maybe the P3D will start to get the badge and spoiler installed from the factory soon

agreed - we just had chrome deleted, wheels powder coated and windows tinted. I will definitely prefer either wrapping the "dual motor" portion of the badge or plasti-dipping it
