Ceramic coating - DIY application

Applied ceramic coating to the M3P today. Benefits of a mate with a double garage ha. Went on really well and the paint looked great apart from a few minor defects that I’ll flag with Tesla.

Great job, thanks for sharing! How difficult did you find the application - any tips or specific things to be aware of in doing this?

Thanks mate. It was pretty easy TBH, definitely helps with two. Just take your time and give everywhere a good coat

I used the same when I first got my car. coming up on three years later and its holding up really well.
The only thing I wish I had done is put PPF on the bonnet/hood and the nose. It has a bunch of rock chips now that the ceramic can't protect against.
Now looking at going with a wrap instead - at least that way I'll get something other than the red, blue or monochrome Tesla options

I thought there was a temperature range for applying these things? Although lower temp does give more time, it;s brass monkey weather around here.

On some products yes but the stuff I used can be applied in any temp

We gave it a good clay, didn't feel like it needed polishing
