Anyone heading to Vegas in 2 weeks for (what admittedly seems will be a lame) CES? I doubt Tesla will be there, but last year there were some EV displays (like the wireless charging prototypes).

Yep, I will be heading there (but not driving the Tesla). With the advent of the Internet there is no real reason for CES except that you get to wander around and touch the new things you'v already heard about online.

Yeah, the internet killed many shows for me (E3, CES etc), but hey, free trip to Vegas and you sometimes get to see some cool stuff.

I'm going, will have coverage (photo & video) like I did in 2010 CES:

JUMPLIVE - Real Time Photo-Video Updates/'10 Consumer Electronics Show

I found that Model S beta will be at Nvidia booth:

2012 International CES | Events | Tesla Motors

I will get photos/videos of it.

If anyone has any wants, please email me from above URL. I was at the 2010 CES Nvidia presentation by Jen Sun (Nvidia founder)

& BMW was the demo car for Nvidia console integration

The guy in driver's seat was a higher up in BMW, I got his business card.

Panasonic & Tesla had announced a battery partnership around this time,

& the Panasonic rep talked about it with me.

Dr Taras Tesla Roadster was on display at the Alpine booth:
