Changing Tire Profile on 22' inch rims

Hi everyone - I keep burring my rims and small bumps feel like big potholes; is it possible for me to increase my tire profile on 22 inch rims so I can get a little more rubber between me and the road?

You can, be careful of rubbing issues. If your rear is 285/35, you may need to check the tire calculator and probably go 275/40/22 or just swap them to 20 inch rims instead
