Charge cable difficult to remove from charger units

I picked up new new M3LR last Monday and I'm finding that the charge cable is really difficult to remove from the charge points (no issues with the car end), I'm UK based if that makes a difference. I've definitely waited long enough for the charge point to release it and I've verified with a Tesla owning friend that it's not me being weak. Has anyone else had this, is it likely to loosen up with use? And do you think Tesla will replace it if I complain? I don't want to damage charge points by tugging my charge cable out too vigorously.
