I wonder how long it will take for some sort of reliable EV corridor to be built from South Africa to, say, Morocco. There were a couple guys who did the trip with a 30 kWh Leaf about five years ago. They had to do some serious hypermiling, and deal with often almost non-existent electrical infrastructure. Took like three months. They just recently released a video series documenting the trip.
