Charging In The Rain?

I did my first charge in the wild yesterday.. and as I got there all excited, I thought: should I be messing with these cables in the rain?

I too did my first charge in the wild yesterday. It was a ChargePoint station, Free, 30amps, 240volts. However, it was rather loud coming from the front of the car. I've never heard that sort of noise before charging at home. Anyone know why? It was with "the Can" if that has anything to do with anything.

No, it's just your cooling system. The car decided the pack was too warm and turned on the air conditioning to cool it down.

My Roadster can make quite the racket depending on ambient temperature and charge current.
