I didn't say it has to be 100, but 315 per tire is a bit steep.
$180/tire, 560 treadwear

Yea I know I suggested twice already but he hasn’t given a reason yet. Those are 18s.
He has a P3D+ with 20" wheels.
(though I agree with the many folks who suggested he switch to 18s if tire cost is a concern....also rim cost since those 20s are easier to damage on a pot hole)
I like my 20's, not changing them.Yea I know I suggested twice already but he hasn’t given a reason yet.
Well Godspeed Captain Obstinate. I wish you well on your quest for the perfect tire.I like my 20's, not changing them.
You basically negate all the benefits and extra cost of getting the Performance model by putting cheap tires on it.
So if you go to 245 35 from 235 35 it would make it a bit wider and taller right?
What about range with the wider tires? I don't mind going higher because my car is low.yes, the 245/35/20 tire diameter is still okay within 26.8", so it shouldn't cause any issues. I personally plan to get 245/35/20 when I need tire replacement.
