Chime when Opening and Closing Trunk Off

I could've sworn when I opened and closed the trunk there would be a chime. Now I don't hear anything.

Anyone know how you can turn it back on?

By “chime” I assume you mean cheap electronic squeal?

I don’t believe there’s any way to turn that on or off but if mine stopped working one day I’d be over the moon.

Sounds more like a ‘boop’ or ‘beep’ to me. I’d say if yours isn’t working, reboot the car as always.

Mine wasn't working. Service center found a wire disconnected. They also tried reloading the firmware. Kind of wish I left it not working.

Huh. In that case, I’d call national support and they can access your car and see if any error codes are showing anything. Could be a real hardware fault at this point!

Under the speakers in the liftgate. Can't miss it

That chime beep is so annoying I disabled mine. Bit of a hassle to get the trim pieces off and yank the connector out of the stupid annoying beeper. Also loads of those daft green trim clips will shatter. In theory I think you could prize the speaker panel off and get quicker access. I just got the feeling that panel was going to break so went the longer route.
