Chris Evans reviews Tesla Model S P85 | Mail Online
Bad metaphor, IMO:
Ah but at least he's aware of it:
Anybody know where the "312 miles" figure comes from?
It is new I think.
Speaking of new reviews, Fox News did a short one on their car reports: ( Obviously they couldn't resist to pull a few snarky comments )
Fox News Tesla Model S a Tasty Treat - YouTube
New European Driving Cycle(NEDC) Tesla got 502 km which is 311.928 miles. Or 312 miles.
Forgot to mention the concept of SuperChargers and non-rip off / loaner servicing which would be huge in the UK, otherwise a great review. Evans is actually quite influential in the UK.
Quote from the article: "The more my on-board paranoia set in, the more I found myself obsessing with the ‘charge remaining’ display and doing anything I could to conserve energy.
A list of procedures that included reducing the brightness on the computer screen and turning down the volume on the radio, both of which scarily did actually make a difference."
Well maybe in the writers paranoid imagination, but not in real life.
Otherwise the article seemed to touch on all the usual high points.
No Superchargers built in the U.K at this point, but that will change dramatically by the end of this year.
Radio volume? OMG I hate that sort of misinformation. A couple of watts isn't going to matter when you're using 20 kW to move the car!!!
That's not Captain America!
Perhaps it's better to be hyper-aware of power, compared to Broder's farce.
